Aleu visits Khartoum

The Minister of Interior, Wildlife, Conservation and Tourism is in Khartoum to meet with the Sudanese Interior minister over bilateral relations. 

The police spokesperson, James Monday told eye radio that General Aleu Ayeny Aleu is meeting with his counterpart in Sudan to follow up agreements signed between the two countries.

“The purpose is to go and follow the agreement four freedoms which was signed between the two countries; and also the implementation of Memorandum of Understanding signed between the minister of interior republic of South Sudan and Sudan,” said Col Monday.

The minister is in a company of a high level delegation.

Sudan and South Sudan signed cooperative agreements on September 2012.

The agreement is allowing citizens of both states to enjoy freedom of residence, freedom of movement, freedom to undertake economic activity and freedom to acquire and dispose property.
