Communal fighting leaves 4 dead in Torit

At least four people have been killed in an inter-clan fighting in Eastern Equatoria state.

“Three others were seriously injured and houses burnt down in the fighting, said, German Charles Ojok,” Torit County Commissioner.

The fighting has led to the displacement of the people.

The commissionersaid the cause of the fighting was a cattle raiding amongst the two neighboring clans in the county.

Mr. Ojok further said the county authority has sent the police to the conflict areas for detailed report.
