The Minister of Information, Michael Makuei Lueth, says the security situation is stable all over the country.

A security report was tabled to the Council of Ministers by the Minister of Defense and the Deputy Minister of Interior on Friday.

“The security situation is normal all over South Sudan except that there are some individual criminal offences, being committed,” Mr Makuei said.

“They don’t count to anything other than being individual offences committed by those people,” he added.

However, a UN weekly report says there were shooting incidents in Bentiu in Unity State, and in Renk and Nasir in Upper Nile State.
