Kajo-keji hospital suspends operations

Author : | Published: Thursday, July 30, 2015

Medical operations in the main hospital in Kajo-Keji County have been suspended due to lack of staff.

The director for health in Central Equatoria, Edward Nyika, says there are no equipment too. He told Eye Radio that some doctors have returned for studies while others requested for leave and have not returned.

“Unfortunately, as you have heard, we have one doctor and in addition to that, some important drugs which are important for the theatre operations are not there,” Mr Nyika said.

Generally in the country, medical staff quit over little pay and poor working conditions.
