Soldier kills 2 boda-bodas in Yambio

Author : | Published: Thursday, July 30, 2015

A soldier shot dead two boda boda motor cyclists this afternoon in Yambio town, Western Equatoria state.

The man killed the two near the airstrip and fled into a nearby bush. The motive of the attack is unclear.

However, Governor Joseph Bakosoro says the incident happened shortly after he asked the army commander in the area to visit Beresi, where three soldiers were killed two days ago.

“We heard that there is one who put on the army raincoat. He shot two young men near the airport in Pothou and ran away, towards northern Yambio,” Mr Bakosoro said.
