Author : | Published: Wednesday, July 29, 2015

In marking the Red Army Foundation Day, a member has called on South Sudanese to unite and work together for peace and development of the country.

Red Army is an organization of former child soldiers, who were recruited during the civil war.

It is celebrating its third anniversary at Freedom Hall in Juba today. Simon Akuei says people have to focus on unity and stop tribalism.

“Let us join the celebration and focus on how we coexist because the uniqueness of our coexistence when we were in the Red Army is actually reflection of a good country,” Mr Akuei said.

He urged the youth and member of the foundation to work for peace.
