Tut Gatluak donates SSP 10m to U-20 national team

The presidential advisor for security affairs, Tut Gatluak Manime donated 10 million South Sudanese Pounds during his visit to the U-20 national football team in the Sudanese capital Khartoum.

Gatluak said the donation, approximately amounting to $17,000 will cater to the players and the team’s management during the competition in Sudan.

Gatluak also donated a thousand jerseys for the first fans to arrive and cheer the national team at the Al Hilal stadium. He also promised transportation means for the national team fans.

South Sudan national team U-20 will face Sudan later on Friday in the qualifiers of U20 African Cup of Nation – Egypt 2023, Cecafa Zonal Qualifiers.

The Bright Stars are in group A of the AFCON zonal qualifiers along with hosts Sudan, Djibouti, and Burundi.

The qualification match kicks off when South Sudan plays against Sudan today October 28th at 7:00 pm Central African Time at El-Hilal Stadium Omdurman, while Djibouti will face Burundi.

In the next match, South Sudan will take on Burundi on first of November.
