The Chairman of Sudan’s Sovereign Council, Abdel Fattah al Burhan on Wednesday arrived in Juba.
The purpose of his visit is not clear, but this comes months after he last presented to President Salva Kiir a proposal on the unification of the necessary unified forces in March last year.
Apparently, the peace parties are yet to complete the graduation of the unified forces.
According to a press conference on Tuesday, the SSPDF spokesperson hinted that the last batch to comprise 53, 000 forces will be graduated Friday.
They are part of the 83,000 forces that will form the unified organized forces for the country.
