Luri bridge posses a challenge

Author : | Published: Tuesday, May 7, 2013

Residents wanting to cross the Luri River are calling for the bridge to be rebuilt immediately. They say they depend on the bridge to get into Juba to sell their produce. Last November, Luri Bridge partially collapsed killing 13 people. The bridge has now totality collapsed after the recent rain. Travelers told Eye Radio that they depend on the bridge since it links them with their market in Juba. The UN roads department inspected the bridge last month and estimated it would cost more than half a million dollars to rebuild Luri Bridge.
