President Salva Kiir has issued an amnesty to all armed groups that are fighting the government.
The pardon gives the forces up to the end of March to respond.
It states that the beneficiaries of the amnesty have to report to government controlled area within this time.
Vice president James Wani Igga read the order during a visit to the Ministry of Petroleum and Mining this afternoon.
