The Caretaker Governor of Central Equatoria State, Juma Ali, has dismissed a longtime deputy governor, Manasse Lomole Waya, in a mini-cabinet reshuffle.

In a decree last evening, the governor named former Minister of Information, Suba Samuel, as the new deputy.

Mr Manasse Lomole has welcomed the changes.

“I was here on a calling. I believe that God directed me to this state to serve. And I did my very best to serve my people… And I know time has to come for me to change place,” Manasse told Eye Radio.

“When the information was made public, I received it with great joy in my heart, because that is what I have been expecting.”

Mr Mannasse has been in the position for the last seven years.

The caretake governor made the changes less than a month since he came to office, replacing former governor Clement Wani Konga.
