Govt to establish embassies in the Middle East

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says it is planning to open three new embassies in the Arab World.

The new embassies will be opened in Kuwait, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

The official spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Mawien Makol, told Eye Radio that they are working to increase the number of embassies in different parts of the world.

‘‘We are making process and opening one in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates. So these are being processed and people are working on officially opening of the Embassies’’, Makol said.

The Ambassador said that South Sudan is a Member of the United Nations and has cordial relations with Troika and Western countries.

He said it is necessary to increase the country’s representation abroad.
