The peace talks have resumed in Addis Ababa today following the arrival of all the negotiating teams.

The IGAD Special Envoys appealed to the government and the SPLM/A-in opposition to immediately implement fully the Cessation of Hostilities agreement.

The Envoys call on the Parties to ensure free access to humanitarian services to citizens affected by the fighting because of the humanitarian requests made by aid agencies in the country.

They also urged them to honor their commitment of opening up relief corridors across the country.
