The Ministry of Finance has sent a mobile team to pay the organized forces in all ten states.

Soldiers and police, prison and wildlife service officers are being paid in person in the duty stations.

The undersecretary for the Ministry of Finance says the committee dispatched to the states is paying members of the organized forces.

“The salary committee is informed to pay the salaries of the army – the organized forces in general,” Wani Boiu Wani told Eye Radio

He said the staff from the states Ministry of Health and education are also being paid a grant.

“As for the conditional grant for health and education, this is the responsibility of the committee.”

Mr. Wani said that the committee has not been instructed to pay other civil servants in the state.

He said the states ministries of labor and finance will continue to pay other government employees.

“The rest of the money for the civil servants in the states has been sent to the states and it’s the responsibility of the state authorities to pay. If they have not started, then maybe they are organizing themselves.”

The Upper Nile state Minister of Information, Philip Jibeni, confirmed to Eye Radio that employees in the state are being paid a full salary by the committee.

“I am now talking to you from inside the Ministry of Infrastructure, and with me is the Minister of Labor, now we are moving towards ​​government institutions to look at the staffs working in various ministries, because the salaries will be paid by a committee,” he said.

The government of Western Bahr el Ghazal state confirmed that the committee has been paying members of the organized forces and civil servants.
