10 police stations, 4 courts, street lights among key projects shaping Governor Cleto’s legacy

The Governor of Western Barh el Ghazal State on Tuesday outlined the achievements of her administration since she was appointed in 2020.

Governor Sarah Cleto says some of her achievements include the construction of ten police stations and four courts and installing 1,200 street lights in Wau town among others.

She made this announcement during the opening of the State Legislative Assembly after a four-month recess in Wau town Tuesday, August 8.

Governor Cleto stated some of the achievements, challenges and way forward in Governance, economy and Service delivery clusters in the State.

Among some of the major achievements, Sarah Cleto says her government has created a conducive environment for political parties’ engagement.

She also says they have inaugurated ten police stations, and four courts and install 1,200 street lights in Wau town among others.

“Achievements in the governance cluster, ensure security and stability, creation of a conducive environment for political parties’ engagement,” Sarah said.

“Inauguration of ten new police stations in the state, inauguration of four courts, installation of solar power in Wau State prison. Installation of 1,200 street lighting on the street within Wau town.”

According to Governor Sarah Cleto, her government will continue to prioritize and promote peace, security, resettlement and building social cohesion among the various communities in the state.
