The Office of the President says it is considering forming a broad based government to involve other political parties in the country.

On Monday, President Salva Kiir increased the number of national ministries by another six.

With the new changes, there are now 27 Cabinet Ministers.

The Press Secretary in the Office of the President, Ateny Wek Ateny, told the press on Thursday that President Kiir is interested in forming an inclusive government.

“The President has accepted to form a broad-base government -that is the government of national unity -that will include other political parties,” said Mr Ateny.

The President reinstated 5 ministries that were merged during the restructuring of the cabinet last year.
