Representatives of nineteen political parties have left Juba for the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, to participate in the peace talks scheduled for tomorrow.

The leader of the political parties’ delegation, Dr. Lam Akol Ajawin, said he is hopeful the talks will bring a peaceful resolution to the conflict.

“Previous talks were suspended as a result of one of the warring parties has shown its objection on the participation of some the stakeholders,”Dr Lam said.

“Now we wish that all parties should go to Addis Ababa seriously, and to be willing and ready to make necessary concessions to achieve peace in the country,” he said.

Mr. Akol said his team will do everything possible to push for compromises in order to ensure the success of this round of negotiations.
