A bridge connecting Juba and Torit is soon to be re-opened after it was damaged by heavy trucks two years ago.

Kor- Englizi Bridge, which is 84 kilometers from Juba, is being built by Rhino Star Construction Company.

The Managing Director of the company, Peter Atem, told Eye Radio that once the construction is complete, it will boost trade between the two towns.

“All the work will be completed by Saturday,” said Mr Atem. “When that bridge is finished, Torit will be connected. it will improve security for people to move from Juba to Torit, Torit to Kapoeta, then to Kenya which is useful and the bridge will last for long.”

Transport between Torit and Juba has been affected by the bad road and people could only travel through Magwi County.
