Kiir sacks 3 Warrap ministers, Tonj North Commissioner

President Salva Kiir fired Warrap State Information Minister alongside two other ministers and the suspended commissioner of Tonj North County on Friday evening.

In a presidential decree read on the national broadcaster – SSBC, Kiir relieved Riing Deng Ading, and replaced him with William Wol Mayom.

He also sacked the Minister of Public Service and Human Resource Development, Mario Malook Lual, and decreed Bath Gur Deng as a replacement.

Meanwhile, Angelo Aniin Ngot has become the new Minister of Parliamentarian Affairs in the position of relieved minister Ater Kuei Thiep.

Kiir further fired Tonj North Commissioner Kuol Akoon and replaced him with Andrea Ayok Malueth as the new Commissioner.

Commissioner Akoon was suspended in June 2022, by Governor Aleu Anyieny over deteriorating security situation in the area.

Ring was appointed to the unity government by President Salva Kiir in February 2021.
