Jonglei, Boma organize peace conference

Officials from Jonglei and Boma States have arranged a conference to discuss joint border guidelines, cattle raiding, and child abduction.

The meeting has been scheduled for tomorrow in Gumuruk, Boma, according to Akech Deng, Jonglei Information Minister.

A team of 19 officials from Jonglei, led by Governor Philip Aguer, will meet their counterparts to discuss these issues, which they say have been a challenge to peaceful co-existence of the people in the two states.

The meeting will be attended by governor of Boma state, Baba Medan Konyi together with his leadership.

Meanwhile, Boma state Coordinator Gabriel Amakori says he would update Eye Radio if he gets clear information from state minister of information.
