Participants at a peace conference in Greater Tonj in Warrap State have resolved that conflicts should be reported to security organs when they arise instead of revenge.

The conference started over weekend with the aim of discussing the increasing insecurity in the region.

The Commissioner of Tonj East County, Madhol Chol Thuc, told Eye Radio the five-day meeting also resolved that the leaders should initiate social development in the region.

“People said that we have to take security as our issues all of us such that any member must take note and take report to the security organ and community leaders and they expressed that they must implement all the resolution that have been drawn out.” Thuc said.

The communities in the three counties of Greater Tonj have called for the implementation of the resolutions.
