The newly appointed international referees of South Sudan will officiate a CAF game in AFCON under 23 in Somalia, an official has said.

“The national football federation has received a message from CAF, confirming that the newly appointed international referees from South Sudan are Mr. Oteng John, the center field referee,” William Okot, the Secretary-General of South Sudan Football Association told Eye Radio.

The three assistant referees are Olibo George and Malong Ring and Mr. Mutwakil Taha.

The referees will officiate the match between Rwanda and Somalia on either 9th or 10th of next month in the Somali capital, Mogadishu.

It is worth mentioning that, the four international referees had already officiated the matches between Rwandan APR and Al Etihad of Libya in the confederation Cup following their appointment by FIFA last year.
