The commissioner of Yambio County in Western Equatoria says two women were shot dead in Timbiro residential area last night.

Huessein Enoka says the deceased include and elderly and a secondary school girl.

He told Eye Radio that two more women were wounded in the incident.

The motive of the attack is not clear and no suspect has been arrested so far.

Mr Hussein says a similar incident happened on Friday night, when a man and his wife were shot dead and burnt in their house in the town.
