According to Daily Monitor, the three — Yol Dheng Zande Chour, 30, Abiacko Amour David Dacko, 39, and Ahon Chapa Mangok, 34 — were charged with jointly cheating, contrary to Section 287 of Uganda’s Penal Code Act.

The suspects allegedly committed the offence together with another person who is still at large between July 31 and August 8, 2026, at Golden Tripod Casino in Kampala Central Division.

Prosecution alleges that the group used fraudulent tricks during a game on a roulette machine to obtain Shs8 million in cash from the casino.

The three appeared before Grade One Magistrate Rophine Achayo, who read and explained the charges to them. They denied the allegations.

Daily Monitor reports that the prosecution told court investigations into the case had been completed and requested that a hearing date be set.

The court adjourned the matter to August 31, 2026, for the hearing of their bail application.
