More than 800 tuberculosis patients in Gogrial East County of Warrap State have been discharged from health facilities.

They have been receiving anti- T-B injection and tablets for the last six months.

The centers are supported by the Canadian International Development Agency, which has been leading treatment of T-B in the area for the last seven years.

The County Information Officer, Mariak Madut Thiik, says all T-B patients were discharged on Monday.

“The doctors want patients to come for treatment in hospital, they do not want to have to look out for them. The TB treatment centers are in Luony Aker and Lietnhom Payams,” said Mr Thiik.

He appealed to the communities to report any case of T-B to the nearby health center.
