Upper Nile University has issued several regulations including barring students from wearing indecent clothes, engaging in violence, or using drugs inside the campus.

In a notice published late on Thursday, the university’s Dean of Students Affairs imposed tougher restrictions on “all forms of behaviors that contravene the Rules and Regulations of the institution.”

The order says no student is allowed to dress in T-shirt during lectures and at the campus. Scholars are also prohibited from wearing “a trouser called damage, in the university campus.”

It further reads that no student is allowed to wear sport cloth or slippers and says all students must dress smartly during lecture.

Students are also not permitted to enter the campus with automatic or white weapons, or after consuming unlawful drugs or alcohol. The university also bans acts of violence.
