University of Juba to open a college in Kuajok

University of Juba has announced that it will open a new college in Kuajok town in Gogrial State.

The Vice Chancellor of the UoJ, Professor John Akech, told Eye Radio that he will sign a Memorandum of Understanding on the matter with the deputy state governor today (Wednesday).

It will be attended by a number of academic staff in Kuajok town.

He said the new college will provide diploma courses and distance learning programs, but he could not specify the opening date.

“That office (once opened) will coordinate distant education which is actually meant for people living in far places, and also those who cannot leave their places of work,” Prof Akech added.
