Two people were injured in a collision between a military tank and a passenger bus on the Gudele road in Juba this afternoon.

An eyewitness who requested anonymity told Eye Radio that the victims were rushed to the hospital.

He said the two soldiers who were in the tank ran away.

“The tank was going to Gudele Two – to Luri and the van was also going to Gudele but it was waiting for passengers,” the eyewitness explained.

“So, when the van started moving, the tank collided with it. After that the tank driver got out and ran away. They were two. I have seen two people injured.”

Central Equatoria state traffic police and the SPLA spokesperson were not reachable for comment.
