Kapoeta South County Commissioner is appealing for seeds as the rainy season approaches in his area. Commissioner Martin Lorika said they have not received any seeds from the government or agriculture organizations. He told Eye Radio that farmers in Kapoeta South have already prepared the ground for plantation. Last week, farmers in Kapoeta area appealed for seeds so that they can address food insecurity in the Greater Kapoeta. In February this year, 11 people died of hunger – an incident which was attributed to crop failure.
