The Northern Bahr el Ghazal State minister for Youth, Sport and Culture has been summoned by the state parliament to explain why he is spending most of his time in Juba.

The deputy speaker of the state assembly, Aguer Wel Diing, says Angui Diing Diing has not returned to the state after he took oath of office last year.

“He has to come and explain to the members of the house why he has been absent for almost one year without sitting in the office,” Mr Wel said

“If he is not willing, he is supposed to resign and leave the office.”

Eye Radio could not reach the minister for a comment but he is expected to appear before the state assembly today.
