The Ministry of Education says it has finally produced a curriculum of eight years in primary and four in secondary school.

The Acting Undersecretary, Avellino Androga, says the review process started 2013.

He says President Salva Kiir will launch the curriculum on Tuesday.

‘‘Since 2013, with support from the Global Partnership for Education, South Sudan has been engaged in a curriculum review process and this has resulted in the development of a curriculum that spans from primary eight years, and secondary 4 years, including the alternative education system,” Mr. Androga said.

“Alongside the curriculum review, the ministry with support from DFID has been working on learning and teaching material policy for republic of South Sudan.”
