The office of the First lady has donated 12 Toyota Land Cruiser, Hardtops, to Warrap state Assembly’s female representatives on the occasion of their visit to Juba.
The chairperson of Warrap Assembly Women Focus, Adut Madut Akech, said they received the first six cars from Madam Ayen Mayardit.
“These vehicles were given in the women list in the Assembly only, not for counties, so that we cannot complain about transport again,” said Hon Adut.
She says the cars will enable them to visit their constituencies.
“We were elected as Women Focus in the Assembly and we didn’t have cars to visit our constituencies when there are crises there like diseases.”
Adut did not say when the women will receive the other six vehicles.
