The government has announced that the food security situation will improve across the country in the next three months.
The Minister Agriculture, Beda Machar, says the projection is a result of a food security survey.
In a statement, Mr. Machar says the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification was conducted last month.
He said almost four million people are projected to remain food insecure this month until December. Two thirds of these people are in Upper Nile, Unity and Jonglei State.
