Six people were killed and 30 others injured in a grenade attack at a night club in Torit on Saturday morning, according to an official.

The authorities are yet to establish the cause of the attack.

The State Minister of Information, Mark Akio, says the injured have been airlifted to Juba for treatment by the United Nations.

He says the attackers have not been arrested and the police is pursuing them.

Madam Lucy Iliha, a resident of Torit says the whole town has been shocked by the grenade attack.

She caution the youth not to attend night clubs.

“What has happen have broken our heart seriously,” Madam Iliha said.
