Construction of Kuajok’s new airport to be completed by May – Official

The ongoing construction of Kuajok’s new airport will be completed in the next two months, authorities in Warrap have said.

The construction being undertaken by Amoko Company commenced two weeks ago and is expected to complete in the next two months.

The project includes a 3 kilometer by 45-meter runway, terminals and a fence.

State’s Minister of Information and Communication, William Wol says once completed, the state government-funded project will host both domestic and international flights.

“The work includes the fencing of the Kuajok national airport, the construction of terminals, and the construction of runways. The runway is three kilometers by forty-five meters,” said Wol.

“The terminal is one hundred and fifty by thirty meters. The three projects within the airport are fifteen million USD and will be completed in the next two months.”

According to the state minister of information in Warrap, they expect to generate revenue from the airport.
