Central Equatoria

Senior government officials in Juba County in Central Equatoria State are holding a two-day meeting to promote democracy and good governance.

The meeting was organized by the Organization for Nonviolence and Development, ONAD.

The executive Director for ONAD, Moses Monday says all people should work for democracy and good governance.

“We need to create that space to work together to see democracy and good governance happen and we need to appreciate what ever little step we are taking towards that direction. It is very very important, in years to come we will begin to see changes happening for better, and this requires collective responsibility as I said.” He said.

The town hall meeting was attended by 20 participants, including members of the community, legislature and the executive.

The meeting ended today.
