50 trained in translating constitution-YEI

At least 50 people in Yei River County are undergoing three days training on how to translate contents of the transitional constitution into various local languages.

The Workshop aims at equipping the participants with simplified skills to help them translate the contents of constitution in various local languages. The training includes community leaders, youth and women.

“The major aim of this training is to help our citizens understand the constitution and we take this opportunity to bring them together so that they understand what the constitution provided for them,” Malish Stephen, the Project Manager of the organization said.

The training has been organized by the Organization for Socio-Economic Transformation.
