The South Sudan Red Cross is assessing the humanitarian situation in Yambio, Gbudwe state, ahead of the rainy season, an official has said.
This comes after recent clashes between vigilante groups and the SPLA, which led to loss of lives and destruction of property in the area.
Thousands of the residents fled to the neighboring areas and about 400 households are now living in the open after their homes were burnt down.
