The trial of more than 30 people accused of rape and violent robbery in Wau, has been postponed indefinitely.
The first hearing of the cases has now been adjourned twice in a row.
The hearing was called off yesterday because some suspects were taken to court without written charges.
Today, the Minister for Local Government and Law Enforcement, Angelo Taban, said investigators are yet to complete their work.
The suspects are being tried by a special court set up to handle such cases. They were arrested in June for allegedly raping young girls in front of their parents and committing violent robbery at night.
Mr Taban told Eye Radio that the trial may start tomorrow if investigators have submitted their findings.
