Tanzania has donated 500 tons of grain to South Sudan.

However, it’s the responsibility of South Sudan government to transport the food from the East African country.

The cost of transport is about 600,000 pounds, according to officials.

“The Minister of Finance has been directed to avail these funds so that this grain is transported to South Sudan, “said Michael Makuei Lueth, Minister of Information.

Upon receipt, the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs will distribute the food to those who have been affected by this crisis.
