A soldier shot four people dead in Rumbek Town last night. He then shot himself dead, according to Lakes official.

The Acting Minister of Information, Jok Ayom, says the incident happened after a misunderstanding between the soldiers.

“He shot dead four, wounded two people plus a small child and kill himself,” Mr Ayom told Eye Radio.

He added that three people including a child were injured in the incident. He says the cause of their misunderstanding is not known.
