Opposition parties frastrated by Addis talks

The eighteen political opposition parties have expressed disappointment over the failure of the two warring parties to reach a peace agreement.

The Secretary for Information for the alliance of the political parties says both parties are not negotiating in good faith.

“We the political parties, as a major stakeholder in deciding the future of our country are deeply concerned and would like to clarify these matters to the public so that our people are not hood-winked into believing that there are indeed genuine negotiations in search for peace taking place in Addis Ababa.” He said

David urged the IGAD to bring the mediation back to the multi- stakeholder format to make the talks inclusive.

“We hold the IGAD responsible for failure to keep the mediation on track”, He said
