Speaking to Eye Radio Thursday afternoon, Teny Jamual Malual Teny advised his age mates to work hard in whatever they are doing.

“I am happy, working hard every single day, I am excited, I want to be an engineer, so I can help the development of the infrastructure,” said Teny.

Teny’s father, Jamual Malual Teny told Eye Radio that he knew his son was going to score highly.

The father who comes from Leer County in Unity State says he will continue supporting his child to realize his dream.

“I am very excited, you know as a father when you work and take your children to school you expect them to get the best result, by him scoring 408, I am very excited. I am very happy for him because he has really made me proud,” said Jamual.

“In South Sudan, we are going through a lot of difficulties, where we don’t stay together with our families, so he made me happy,

“My son is quiet, not talkative, and he does his things slowly, I know his performance is very good, because he is very intelligent, and this is what we were expecting,

“I will support him and do whatever I can do to make him a better person in the future.”

Teny Jamual Malual Teny, 15, sat his examination from Radiance Academy, in Nakuru, Kenya.

He scored 408 marks among his other colleagues.

A total of 1,233,852 candidates sat for the 2022 KCPE exam.

The results were released by the Ministry of Education in Kenya on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.
