She said for any ministry to pay its salaries, they need to review their employee’s payment sheets.

“The caretaker governor of Northern Bahr El ghazal state his calling and asking all ministers and the all director general and cashiers in the ministries to review the pay sheets of all employees of the state government because there are a lot of ghost names ,especially in the Ministry of Education,” said Mrs Benjamin.

“If you’re on sick leave or [annual] leave, it should be legal and no need for the ghost names in the state and if anything like this happens, we will take a legal step to solve it.”

She also said the ministry of finance has already release the March salaries to different ministries in the state.
