The Director of Finance in the National Prisons Service has been shot dead in Juba.

The body of Captain Satimon Mendiate was found this morning in front of his house in Munuki suburb, in Juba.

“In the early morning, our small sister who to cleans the compound found the body of our father lying outside, and there is a gun, type of AK47 just next to his body, about one meter. Till now the legal process is going on, I didn’t hear the gunshots, but we woke up at 6:45AM to the bad news, and no one has been accused till now, but we are still following, we want to know,” narrated to Eye Radio, Emmanuel Juma, the son of the deceased.

The killing of Captain Satimon is among other crimes over the weekend.

Another police officer also was shot dead on Saturday in Rock City.
