Congolese Rhumba music star Le Grand Mopao, has landed in Juba today evening ahead of his private concert on Wednesday.

The Congoles legend known by stage name as Koffi Olomide made the surprise visit to the country, where he will perform at an evening party on Valentine’s Day.

The concert is being sponsored by Gold Orchid Events Mangement.

It is his first time to visit and perform in South Sudan.

In 2016, a concert by Koffi Olomide was cancelled in Juba after public outcry over alleged payment of $1.5 million to the legendary Congolese musician – in order to perform in the country.

However, Olomide is finally in the country and will perform for free on Tuesday evening.

But the tickets for the concert are currently being sold at $200 for VVIPs, $100 for VIPs, and 50$ dollars for ordinary.

The music legend and was received by Central Equatoria officials and fans at Juba International Airport.
