The Governor of Buma State says bad roads have caused shortage of goods in main market.
Baba Midan says the state capital, Pibor, started experiencing the shortage of the essential goods after rains cut off the area from Juba and neighboring states.
Mr Medan told Eye Radio that some business people are hiring planes to transport goods to the area, but the goods are expensive and few.
“Well the roads are still closed. There is no way from Juba to Pibor now and there are no goods in the market and those business people are trying to hire charter plane to Pibor. So the prices are very high in the market,” he explained.
