Finance Minister Dr. Bak Barnaba Chol signs 11.3 million deal with AfDB and UNESCO in Juba. (-)

The Minister of Finance and Planning on Friday signed a 11.3 million US dollars’ capacity building agreement with the African Development Bank and UN cultural agency UNESCO.

The Tripartite Funding and Implementation Agreement will reportedly support Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and value chain projects in three ministries.

Minister Dr. Bak Barnaba Chol said the benefiting ministries include General Education, Higher Education and Labor and Industrial Relations.

The agreed projects are expected to be implemented in early 2024 in the areas of capacity building, manpower development and technological training in various part of the country.
