More than 14 suspects have been arrested in Wau County, Western Bahr al-Ghazal State, over the killing of the administrator of Mboro Payam.

Unknown gunmen ambushed and shot dead Mr Natale John Hassan last week while returning from a funeral to Wau town.

A police officer identified as Yona Francis was also killed in the incident.

County Commissioner Elia Kamilio Dimo told Eye Radio that the suspects, who were arrested in Bugari, are now under investigation.
