The chairperson of Juba’s Gurie suburb says a young man was shot and killed during a birthday party Sunday night.

Loreng James did not state who shot the unnamed man and the motive of the killing.

However, he says, this occurred at 3:00 AM when a group of gangs commonly known as nigger invaded the party.

Mr James says the deceased’s body was taken by crime scene investigators.

“What happened yesterday, there was a birthday party for another girl in the area, so those Niggers came and a boy was shot dead, the body was taken by the crime scene detectives,” James narrates the incident to Eye Radio.

Another resident of Gurei suburb in Juba, who only identified himself as Emmanuel confirmed the incident to Eye Radio.

“The incident of the killing happened in Lemon Gaba, block 4 at around 3 am. When we reached the scene, we found a dead body lying down, that is what happened,” said Emmanuel.

“The dead body was there and nobody from the family had shown up, but a crime scene detective came and picked up the dead body.”

The police authorities told Eye Radio they are still gathering information about the incident.
